How does Sifter take to account the ESG factors in investing?

In the Sifter fund, ESG aspects are considered a natural part of the investment process. Sifter does not invest in companies with low ESG results or that belong to an industry that is excluded from Sifter’s investment strategy. Rejected industries include tobacco products, gambling, fossil fuels, alcohol, weapons, and adult entertainment companies. Our investment processes are consistent with the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). In addition, we also measure the net impact of our companies, which tells us about their positive and negative effects on the planet.
